tied by the circular datestamp "SHEPHEARD'S HOTEL 8 - 1.
09.11 AM (bilingual), which is repeated alongside. The
envelope is addressed to Philadelphia, PA., and bears on
reverse a transit c.d.s. of Cairo. No other postal
markings. Very Fine and Fresh hotel envelope with very
attractive illustration. Very clear postmarks.

paquebots postal marking and manuscript marking 90. On
reverse, manuscript unusual rate marking and arrival
c.d.s. of Marseille, 28 DEC 52. One horizontal filing
crease, otherwise fine and fresh state of preservation.
