Scott #37. One piastre pale ultramarine on a complete envelope with the fine emblem illustration of the SHEPHEARDS HOTEL, CAIRO. The stamp is tied by the circular datestamp "SHEPHEARD'S HOTEL 8 - 1. 09.11 AM (bilingual), which is repeated alongside. The envelope is addressed to Philadelphia, PA., and bears on reverse a transit c.d.s. of Cairo. No other postal markings. Very Fine and Fresh hotel envelope with very attractive illustration. Very clear postmarks.
